Today, cleanRoar took a facelift, and while keeping up with the seasons and holidays, it brings the Christmas Spirit to WordPress themes. The theme is available for download at WordPress.org.

For this month the Christmas skin is enabled by default, but the legacy cleanRoar skin is at your fingertips via a option-packed back end.

WP Include File – a WordPress Plugin

In the series of contributions AmberPanther releases the WP Include File. WP Include File is a WordPress Plugin that can be used to include any file within the post content using the WordPress shortcode API.

The advantage of using WP Include File plugin is that the included file can contain PHP script that will be executed upon inclusion, where as WordPress does not allow PHP script within the post content.

Options include:

• Multiple skin support.
• Categories listing on the main menu bar, not just in the sidebar.
• Support for social links, twitter and facebook, and third-party RSS url, to replace the native WordPress one.
• Google Analytics script can be set from the options, no need to edit template files.
• Support for up to four 125 by 125 px Ad banners, displayed at the top of the sidebar.
• Ad banner and Ad script support in the sidebar.
